Localhost subfolder sites not displaying Mac

Hi,

I'm trying to view localhost sites on my Macbook, OSX 10.9.2 i can view the root of my local host ok, there is an index.html file in there that will show up but  If I try and access any sub folders, all I get is a blank screen.
